Sparkling pink wine, with floral and fruit scents of cherry-raspberry
Description
The origin of the name “Petareo” comes from the presence of robins on the vineyards of Raboso, the latest to be harvested. The harvested grapes is drained and rest for 12 hours on marc. After buffing is drained and soft pressed, preserving that red colour similar to a breast of a robin, called “petareo” in the local dialect.
How to taste
It is recommended to serveat 10°C.
Suggested pairings
It is an excellent aperitif if paired with fish starters, also good with not particularly demanding dishes.
